ONE SUNDAY...

... dear sister visited me at the house (hi sis! magkwento ba? harharhar). It has been a long time since we scrapped together - - errrr, actually that was the plan. She was blabbing happily - - us "scrapping" together, facebook stories, she raiding my Nikki Sivils stash (while doing the evil laugh!!!!)) etc. - - when I told her I got to try something that I have seen somewhere before.

I asked her to make me some Sizzix flower diecuts out of paper towels using my Cuttlebug. Using my Tattered Angels and Maya Road mists, some flower centers and brads, I was able to do these:

(The chipboard is from Buzz and Bloom. ;o) )

Nice noh? It's pretty fast and simple to do too - - just follow these steps:

1) Cut flowers in different sizes (first time that I'll be using my Sizzix flower diecuts on my project after 2 years!!!). My flowers used 3 layers of each size, plus the paper towels that I used were two-ply.

2) Mist generously (until the paper towels get all soggy!!!). Let dry.

3) Once dry, crumple then decrumple (does this make sense? LOL). Stack all layers according to size and then hold together with a brad.

Taaadddaaaa!!!! That fast. ;o)

Since I'm always too lazy to bring out the bug, I asked dear sis to make me tons of other flower diecuts. I'd definitely do more of these as soon as my new stash of mists arrives!!!

Thanks for looking! Let me know if you try it!!! (and thanks sis for cutting the flowers for me - - i luv u!!!!)
