TEA FOR TEACHER

Last Valentine's Day, I thought of sending little tokens to my daughter's teachers. Truth was, I worried that she would be the only one NOT to give them "a little something" to celebrate the day as I knew her classmates come from well-off families. I figured my daughter has to give them something personalized to make the gifts different and more memorable - - figured too that they didn't need to be expensive to express our gratitude - - so I gave them these teabags (each holder contains 4 teabags, 2 in each pocket).

Supplies: Paper, Stickers: BasicGrey, Cardstock: Die Cuts With a View, Glitter Glue: Ranger Industries, Ink: Ranger Industries, Tsukineko, Tools: Punches (Fiskars), Stamp (Paper Studio), Tutorial: Split Coast Stampers, Other: ribbons, bling.

I remember giving the instructions to my daughter's nanny Friday morning, so Friday night when I came home, I asked the nanny right away what happened when Nat gave her gifts to her teachers.

"Was Nat able to give her gifts?"

"Yes, Ate."

"Did they like it? Ano'ng sabi?"

"Ganda raw. Touched sila sobra."

"Ayus. What did her other classmates give the teachers?"

"Wala Ate. Si Nat lang ang me gifts."

Funny noh? Turns out my daughter was the only one to give something, LOL. Made me realize I can be a real stage mom at times, LOL.
