SCRAP SCHEMES SCHEME#12

Discovered this site through my friend April (she's on the DT). For their challenge, you have to use this image as your LO's inspiration:

Upon seeing this, I just knew I have to use my Brenda Walton Mira Golden Swirl Die-cut cardstock (bought this from Memorylane Store last PS-SE Christmas Party). Had a hardtime cutting it though (so pretty, wanted to buy 2, but it was the last piece), but in the end, it was worth it. ;o)

Here's my take:

Journaling: Your beauty never ceases to amaze me.

Materials used: Cardstocks by Bazzill and DCWV, Papers by K&Co, BG, Bo Bunny, and AAS, Prima Flower, HS Big Flower, Handmade woven mat by AAS, MM glimmer alphabet stickers, BG Wholy Cow rub-ons, Stazon Jet Black Inkpad, AL Elegant Flourishes Clear Stamps, AL Ticketed Clear Stamps, Journaling chipboard (unknown), Dragonfly felt punchout (Sizzix paddlepunc), Colorbox Inkpads for distressing, lace, AAS butterfly sticker and conchos, JB Bingo Card, blings.

There are two firsts here in my LO: first, this is is my first LO with a slanting orientation (fits the picture I used). Liked the effect so much I hope I can do another like this in the future. Second, this is my first time to use a butterfly in my LO. I find them too magical (that they scare me at times... am I weird?), I feel that I shouldn't use them as embellishments lightly.

Thanks for looking.
