hi jami.

omigosh!!! i'm sooo stoked, tickled pink even!!! this is my first time to submit and it's gonna get published (can you tell i'm doing my happy dance?)!!! i have taken the pictures out of my blog (www.thereluctantscrapper.blogspot.com), will advise also journaling junkie (the challenge blog site to whom i submitted my LO) to do the same. ;o)

have these questions though: this will really get published in the actual printed magazine right? i still can't believe it, so sorry, i'm relatively a newbie. can i say in my blog that my LO will get published in scrapbooking.com april issue? or i can't mention the name of the mag? also, will you require me to mail you the actual LO?

thanks thanks so much. you made my day. ;o) will email you my write-up as soon as I am done with it. ;o)

Yippee!! I'm so glad you're excited and I'm happy you decided to submit. Yes, the layout will get published, though we are an online magazine only (but that's good, because you get WAY more exposure than you would with print, plus articles are archived forever and you can always access them to use on resumes or show for Design Teams try-outs that you've been published). You are welcome to publicize on your blog all you want, in fact I encourage that. You do not need to send in the actual project, just the image will suffice. Let me know if you have any other questions and welcome to the family!! :)

This publishing thing has bitten me - - I must admit. I want it now, and I want it bad. I only have 1 scrapbook magazine - - Scrapbooks etc. May/June 2008 issue (it was a "welcome to scrapbooking" gift to me by my friend Aying) - - wouldn't it be nice to have at least one more with your work on it? ;o)

p.s.

Aying emailed me saying that "Scrapbooking.com Magazine is the world’s largest online scrapbooking publication. Its readership spreads to over 100 countries around the world. Scrapbooking.com Magazine has been ranked the number one scrapbooking site on Google, Yahoo and AOL since 2000." Wow, I obviously didn't know that - - should have known better. I guess I'll just continue doing my happy dance until I've submitted all the requirements to Jami. Thanks sis! Thanks for always being my cheerleader. ;o)
