The challenge for the month is to create a layout about the one you love and why you love him/her. This is my entry:
Journaling: "Mommy, where's my box of crayons?" This is the first time that Nat remembered I promised to buy her one yesterday. Luckily, I too remembered and quickly pulled the crayons out of my bag.
Funny how a thing costing only Php30 gives priceless happiness. Truth to tell, you are my box of crayons, Nat. You color my life in all those beautiful shades.
Materials used: DCWV cardstocks, Papers by KI Memories, AAS, Scenic Route, WRMK and Stackz, ribbons, brads, buttons, blings, acrylic paints, Cuttlebug diecuts (felt flower, Olivia alphabets, concentric square), sakura and uniball signo pens, Prima clear stamp (Build a Frame), Studio Azul clear stamp (border), Fabercastell Watercolor Pencils.
I really wanted this LO to be colorful - - I initially wanted to use crayons in my LO but decided on using watercolor pencils instead. Bought a box containing 24 colors (by Fabercastell, costing Php276.75 at National Bookstore, hey not bad!) and I must say I was pleased with the results. This was my first time that I used them, and I think I'm gonna have a new favorite toy (works great with Staz On ink).
Trivia: Had to google the colors of the rainbow for this one (it's ROYGBIV, scrapped indigo though).
Thanks for looking.
