My division went to Villa Escudero last week for our annual teambuilding seminar. Felt kinda drained and tired after, which made me lost my scrappin’ mojo. I had to force myself though to submit an LO for Kaya 19 (view it here). The second challenge for the month was to create a traditional LO using negative space. Just what I needed - - I couldn’t for the life of me scrap my “usual” way… For the challenge, I chose a picture during our honeymoon at Panglao four years ago. I thought the picture also depicted negative space. This is my LO:
Journaling: In this sea of love, may we stand together thru the sands of time.
Materials used: Cardstocks by DCWV, blings, rickrack, Basic Grey undressed alpha chipboards, cuttlebug diecuts (from the sea), acrylic paints, Sakura pens, AC slickwriter, Colorbox inkpad
Noticed though, that even without my mojo, I still am addicted to my Sakura pens. ;o) Must mean there’s still hope of finding it back….
