THE PETALS CHALLENGE

Over at Bo Bunny, the DT gals were asked to showcase the newly released petals and I just have to sign up. (Ssshhh, the petals are one of the reasons why I was soooo excited to be part of the team - - they are super must haves!!!!! LOL!!!)

Here's my take on the challenge - - it's an Olivia number - - I made this one as a gift for my girlfriend Yam (surprise!!!!!!! Ang ganda ng lola ko!!!!!! LOL!!!!) who got married last month and will be migrating to NY soon. I just have to find a suitable frame/shadowbox to go with it before I can give it to her. ;o) Hope she likey. ;o)


Some close-ups for you:

I placed Bo Bunny Petals on the center of my Gardenias for some pop of orange on my flowers. I applied Opal Dust on the edges of the petals for added shimmer.

The Antique Lace Petal is actually part of the Noel Collection but it's versatile enough to be used in any Bo Bunny collection!

I outlined my Olivia Cameo Die Cut paper with gold paint. Instead of air drying, I heat gunned it for a more textured look. Got to finally use my Mica Flakes on my swirl chipboards too, yay!!!

Tip: Raise your alphabet stickers with foam tape for added dimension.
