I have made my love for Jillibean Soup no secret - - and TODAY is the day when I showcase my wares over at their blog HERE!!!
I invite you all to drop by - - I seriously bet that you'd be wanting the papers that I have worked with (for my friends here in Manila, Vivian of Lasting Impression has both lines so hurry!!!!!!!!!!!). ;o) I'd be featuring all the projects that I made for them here on my blog one at a time (after all, didn't I promise that I'll be blogging everyday for the rest of my birth month? ;o) ), so that I can also show some detail shots / close-ups, maybe explain some of the techniques I used. ;o)
So which project should I start with? Hhhhmmm, maybe I'd start with HAM! as today is also my daughter Nat's birthday!!!! (Happy Birthday Nat!!! Mommy soooooooooooooo super loves you. ;o) )
Supplies: Paper, Ribbon, Twine, Alphabet, Stickers, Journaling Sprout: Jillibean Soup, Cardstock: Die Cuts with a View, Chipboard: Buzz and Bloom, Brads: Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, Acrylic Paint: Making Memories, Pen: Uni-ball, Other: felt ribbon, gesso.
These corrugated alphas would have to be one of my most fave Jillibean Soup product!!!! For this one, I painted my kraft corrugated alphas with gesso first and then the Honeydew Making Memories acrylic paint. After letting it dry, I sanded it to reveal the kraft color and gesso below. I felt very clever doing that. LOL!!!
Cut-out two of these flowers and held them together with Nikki Sivils' Cord Brads!!! I flipped them up a bit to give additional dimension.
Just a food for thought.... (used Buzz and Bloom's Shout Out chipboard!!!)
Hope you can drop by over at Jillibean Soup's blog!!! Hope you can stick with me too everyday of June!!!! ;o)
Thanks people!!!!
