wanting to do something new and unexpected? like something that others find really out-of-your-character?

This is the theme of my layout - - but I can't share yet my journaling (hidden inside the envelope). I have been invited to guest design over at Creative Scrappers as part of its month-long anniversary celebration. I was asked to use this sketch by Zarah Peterson:

Here's my take:

Journaling: They say "The most difficult step of a journey is the first." Here I am mustering the courage to take the first step.

Supplies: Paper, stickers, twine and journaling spot: Jillibean Soup, Cardstock: Couture Cardstock, Tiny circle alphabet stickers: Jenni Bowlin Studio, Buttons: BasicGrey, Ink: StazOn (Tsukineko), Ranger Industries, Pens: Uni-ball, Other: thread, crochet thread, coin envelope, date stamp.

Some close-ups:

Thanks for having me again as a guest designer Creative Scrappers!!!!

P.S. Sorry if my blog posts have been few and far in between lately. Got sick last week plus I haven't scrapped since Monday. Mr. Mojo kinda left. Have to find him again. ;o(
