REFLECTIONS

I discovered Pagemaps' blog recently (I know, like where have I been? LOL) and I fell in love right away with the sketches I saw there. I thought of using the Pagemaps sketch that you can see here with my Journaling Junkie's Challenge 74. The prompt for this challenge is this: Create a layout that celebrates one of your talents, journaling about it and how it affects the people in your life.

This is my take:

Hidden Journaling: A major turning point in my life happened when I discovered scrapbooking. Creating gives me so much joy - - I never imagined I can create beautiful things with my hands!!! I like to think of it as an unexpected talent - - to be able to capture not only mine but also my family's life journeys. I thank God for this gift and the happiness that it brings not only to me but also to the people I love dearly.

The rose was originally white - - I just misted it with Maya Road's Cream Metallic Mist and topped it with Stickles.

The journaling is inserted in a see-through pocket. I think this is my most fave thing here. ;o)
