HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL!!!!

Mommy's writing this post as she watches you sleep on your hospital bed. I love you sooooo, soooo much, and it breaks my heart to see you in pain. Please take your medicines (it's always a struggle for the nurses and I to make you take them!!!!) so that you'll be well pretty soon. We're still waiting for Daddy and Ate Nat and your birthday cake so you can blow your candles (hope they get here before you wake up!!!!)

Since it's Phil's birthday today, I'm gonna feature a layout about him. This one is especially made for Journaling Junkie's Challenge 70: Documenting the Negative. Of course, I couldn't just make a straight negative layout, you know what I mean? I decided to make mine "negative cute" and here it is:

Journaling: You know that Phil has done something naughty when you find him hiding inside the cabinet!

Supplies: Cardstocks: Bazzill Basics Paper, Die Cuts with a View, Papers: October Afternoon, Scenic Route, Stamps: Ranger, Pink Paislee, Making Memories, Chipboards: All About Scrapbooking, Rusty Pickle, Border Punch: Fiskars, Paints: Making Memories, Buttons: BasicGrey, Sticker: Creative Imaginations, Pens: Uni-ball, Sakura, Other: foam diecuts (Quickutz Moxxie, Cuttlebug Netting and Typewriter alphas), felt flower diecut, ric rac, ribbons, blings, crochet thread, brown floss, staple.

These monsters are pure cuteness, aren't they?

Still in love with my crochet thread...

There goes the loopy loop ric rac (or is it rik rak? LOL)

Buttons (my go-to embellishment) galore...

Ooohh, forgot to mention, notice the neon yellow greenish splats? Those actually were from my Sakura Souffle Pen. I don't know why it won't write anymore, so instead of throwing it, I burned the edge and just splattered what remained of the ink on my cardstock base.

Ooops, this is rather a long post. Sonny's already up calling Mommy. I love you Phil, eventhough you're naughty at times. ;o)

Gotta go people. Sending healthy vibes your way!!!
