Not my usual, I know, but still I want to surprise myself from time to time. Flowers galore!!!
Had a hard time adhering the vine so I sewed it on some points.
This rose is originally white, I just misted it to get that sparkly red color!
The leaves were too dark green (thanks Ember for the leaves!!!), so I still topped it with a lighter shade of green and some gesso for added effects.
I used Coffee Shop mist, crackle paint, and gold acrylic paint to achieve this texture on my chipboard:
I got myself a treat - - I enrolled in Iris' next class (I think this one will be held in February). Soooo excited already!!!! I want to try making more "shabby chic" layouts in the future - - although that will mean I have to replenish my stocks of Prima flowers. ;o)
Thanks for looking people!!!

This is FABulous Janis! It's always fun to try something different to your usual style - and you never know what you might find!
Oh, it's just wonderful! I was totally thinking "Iris" when I saw it...I'm a big fan of hers and yours. Nice work!
I love lots of flowers, and especially in clusters, so this layout "speaks" to me (smile). It is really nice.
