Jillibean's Sketch Contest

I just found out about Jillibean's blog recently (Thud! where have I been?) and read about their Friday Free for All sketch challenge. I cannot refuse to join for I soo love their papers - - their papers really make my kiddie layouts pop!!!

Here's the sketch!


Here's my take:

Journaling: You two can be the best of friends yet can be the worst of enemies. I know you are still both babies and at only one and a half years apart, it is hard to make you two understand at this point. I hope when you get older, you will cherish both each other for you only have each other as siblings. For now, I'll just enjoy watching you two share your baby love.

Supplies: Cardstocks: Bazzill Basics Paper, Die Cuts with a View, Papers and stickers: Jillibean Soup, Chipboards: Heidi Grace, Paint: Making Memories, Ink: Colorbox, Others: Crochet thread, thread, pearl beads, craft wire, blackglitter sticker sheet, Cuttlebug alphabet dies (Baby Face, Curls and Swirls), old kraft envelope, Garamond font.

Still in love with my crochet thread - - first time to make tassels out of them.


Fly, fly, fly the butterflies....

Raised my Jillibean alpha stickers with foam to create dimension. Good thing I saw that the JB's stickers also have those little hearts, the green hearts are perfect against the red alphas don't you think?


Really enjoyed creating this one as these photos make me laugh. Thanks for looking.
