SCRAPSTREET STAR's FINAL RESULTS

I joined the Scrapstreet forum just for the Scrapstreet Annual Star Contest - - I love joining challenges and I thought this is just one of those scrapping contests with huge give-aways. The only thing new to me is its format - - it's an elimination type contest that's gonna run for 6 weeks and that the results will be based also on community voting (50%). I didn't realize really that it was also a search for future mag staff - - I just joined there to scrap!!!

The real challenge for me started in round 3 when we were asked to write, I was just sooo clueless - - I have no prior experience in writing articles plus I don't really read scrap magazines. I just said to myself I have nothing to lose, I'll just have fun with it and give it a try. Then Round 4 came (I thought that was the end of the road for me - - thank god for Cabbie and Lady Grace!!!) then Round 5 - - and I found myself in the final 6.

I thank everyone who supported me all throughout the contest - - I am sooo grateful for the experience. I placed 2ND PLACE at the Annual Star Contest - - although that's just the icing on the cake. The real prize really is that they asked me to be part of their MAGAZINE STAFF!!!!! Yey!!!

I am still absorbing the fact that I'm now part of Scrapstreet mag crew (still can't believe that I was able to convince them that I can write LOL). Thank you so much everyone, for taking the time to vote for me and who believe in my craft. I can't thank you guys enough.
