If you pass by EDSA, you must have noticed this billboard:
My latest LO is inspired by this billboard... and its "influence" on my son, Phil. See, we live near the national road and you can actually see the billboard from our place.
Here's my LO:Journaling:
This billboard along EDSA has caught Phil's fascination that he always climbs the windows and asks to go out for long walks just to have a glimpse of its bright lights. Once spotted, he'll shout "Lucky me!"" and point to the billboard.
Amusing it is, but to me, it's a reminder to always have the eyes of a child in discovering joy in simple things.
Materials used: Cardstocks by DCWV; Papers by AAS, K&Co, WRMK and Around the Block; SR arrow cardstock; Tim Holtz Ticket; SR buttons; AAS cloth embellishments and sticker; Uniball signo pen; Colorbox and Ranger inkpads; MM acrylic paint (chocolate); Cuttlebug chipboard diecuts (Naturals); AC Thickers; DMC thread (white); Stickles (dark blue); MM tiny alphas (white on black).
This is my first time to use the bubblewrap+paint technique. Cool.
I'm still behind my usual LO count. At least I was able to steal time to do this.
Hey Phil, lucky me for having you as my son.
Thanks for looking.
